Black Tiger Age Grade Marks Christmas, Honours Chief Prince Isaiah MBA, Preaches Peace in Andoni

Members of the Black Tiger Age Grade gathered in Engorgement Town, Unyeada, on December 25, 2025, to celebrate Christmas, honour the chieftaincy elevation of Chief (Dr.) Prince Isaiah L. MBA, Obgilikana-Nyenwa IV, and deliver a strong message of unity and peaceful coexistence across Andoni.

The celebration commenced at the palace of Chief (Dr.) Prince Isaiah L. MBA, Obgilikana-Nyenwa IV, PhD, before moving to the residence of Mr. Monday Humphrey, a member of the Black Tiger Age Grade, who graciously hosted the chief and members of the group. From there, the gathering proceeded to the Ebgormung Playing Ground, where members joined residents of the community to continue the Christmas celebration.

Speaking with Bigchiefvibes Media, the Chairman of the Black Tiger Age Grade, Mr. Friday Ataije, described Christmas as a season of love, reunion, and reflection. He noted that the celebration provided an opportunity for members to reconnect with long-standing friends and families while giving thanks to God for life and preservation.

He further highlighted the contributions of the age grade to community development, stating that the group has remained actively involved in social engagements, youth mentorship, and the promotion of positive values within the society.

According to him, the gathering was not only to mark Christmas but also to celebrate one of their own who has attained a highly respected chieftaincy position in the Unyeada Kingdom. He described the elevation of Chief Prince Isaiah as a moment of pride and honour for the entire age grade, noting that such recognition among young members has been rare in recent times. He therefore commended the family of the chief and members of the age grade for standing together to celebrate the achievement.

The chairman also used the occasion to preach peace, love, and unity in Ebgormung, Unyeada, Andoni Local Government Area, and beyond, urging residents to embrace harmony during and after the festive season.

Also speaking at the event, Chief (Dr.) Prince Isaiah L. MBA, Obgilikana-Nyenwa IV, who served as Secretary of the age grade prior to his chieftaincy, emphasized the importance of age grades in promoting unity, cleanliness, peace, and development within the community. He noted that the Black Tiger Age Grade works closely with the traditional institution and the Community Development Committee (CDC) to advance the growth and progress of Unyeada.

He expressed gratitude to members of the age grade for their continued support, stating that their encouragement has strengthened his resolve to fulfill the responsibilities of his chieftaincy for the benefit of his family and the wider community. He concluded by wishing Unyeada, Obolo, and Andoni at large a peaceful and joyous Christmas and New Year, while urging residents to remain loving and united.

In his remarks, Mr. Monday Humphrey, who hosted the gathering, stressed the importance of unity among members of the age grade, noting that coming together to share meals and fellowship brings joy and strengthens bonds. He expressed appreciation to God for life and described the chieftaincy elevation of Chief Prince Isaiah as a proud moment worthy of celebration.

The Christmas celebration was marked by cultural bonding, prayers, communal feasting, and goodwill messages as members of the Black Tiger Age Grade and residents of Ebgormung came together in a peaceful and joyful atmosphere. The event concluded with renewed calls for unity, peace, and collective responsibility toward sustaining development within the community.

The gathering not only celebrated the birth of Christ but also symbolized the strength of brotherhood, cultural pride, and the commitment of the Black Tiger Age Grade to the progress and harmony of Unyeada and Andoni at large.
