“I Stand for Peace, Not Conflict” — Prince Simeon Isaiah (Oroatankpo I) Denies Insult Allegations, Speaks on Challenges After Late King Israel Uzamadeng Otuo (IX)’s Burial

Pst. Chief. Simeon Isaiah Oroatankpo I, speaking on Sunday 19th April at Christ Army Church of Nigeria in Unyeada during the thanksgiving service in honour of the late His Eminence King (Dr.) Israel Uzamadeng Otuo (IX) JP, expressed deep gratitude to God for the successful burial of the late monarch.

In his words, he thanked God for the strength and grace to pass through all he experienced during the burial rites, stressing strongly that he has never insulted or backstabbed anyone in Unyeada, either young or old. He maintained that his life and actions have always been guided by peace and sincerity.

Prince Isaiah further stated that because of his love for the late king and his involvement in the burial arrangements, some individuals went on air accusing him of causing tension in Unyeada, despite his consistent record as a peace-loving person.

He also recounted his involvement in peace-making efforts in Unyeada and other areas, adding that he and his family have been facing challenges, including being reported to the Nigeria Police, which he described as the result of betrayal and misunderstanding.
